Amar Bengal is a new brand that aims to distinguish and educate the masses on the regional cooking of Bangladesh. The majority of Indian restaurants in the UK are mix of styles of cooking and from all over the south east Asian area. Usually traditional favorites from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are all mixed into a menu and rarely distinguish their respective region. Amar, which means ‘mine’ will distinguish the differences between the heritage and cooking styles of each country.  Amar aims to teach the techniques and recipes to achieve that truly authentic cooking that you eat a restaurant or at a Asian friends house.
